Procedure of an Ayurvedic treatment
After a detailed conversation, pulse and eye diagnosis, an individual therapy plan will be created for you. Nutrition and lifestyle recommendations, based on your complaints and your special constitution, are always part of the therapy.
Elements of the treatment
Pulse diagnosis
Pulse diagnosis allows a deep insight into the inner happenings of the sick person in just a few seconds. It reveals the imbalances on the physical, mental, emotional level. It exposes the blockages that lead to deterioration. Classically, pulse reading is at the centre of the diagnosis in Ayurvedic therapy.
In today's medicine, only a few know about this art. Even in Ayurvedic training it is hardly taught anymore.
Eye diagnosis
Iris diagnosis is an immeasurably valuable diagnostic tool for the therapist. It enables an insight into the overall situation of the sick person, which neither conversation, laboratory nor facial diagnosis can offer. It makes the chosen therapy holistic and individual.
Through my intensive study of Ayurveda, as well as my internships at the Ayushakti Clinic in Mumbai, I have learned the handling and administration of the Ayurvedic herbal recipes. They are made by the clinic itself and are mostly from parchment scrolls that have been passed down from master to master for thousands of years. Vaidya Pankash Naram is currently the bearer of this tradition. Compared to other herbal formulations in Asia, the compositions of this tradition are very gentle and have a very deep effect when taken over a long period of time. All herbal products are tested for harmful substances.

Cooperation with the Ayushakti Clinic
For 12 years now, I have been very fortunate to work with the Ayushakti Clinic in Mumbai. We are in constant contact and exchange patient cases. My Ayurvedic approach is based on their daily experience of countless patients over 30 years. They, in turn, learn about the typical problems of western patients, their lifestyle and diet through our practice.
Ayurvedic treatments
All oil treatments use the original formulas of the Siddha Veda line. The oils are medicated with Ayurvedic herbs.
Shirodhara - Forehead Oil Infusion
A mixture of warm oil and Indian herbs is poured in a continuous stream onto the forehead. This is preceded by a neck massage and followed by a face and head massage. Shirodhara relieves tension, anxiety, insomnia and headaches. Reduces blood pressure and improves concentration and mental clarity. It has a calming effect on the nervous system and promotes optimal hormone secretion. It is recommended to do this application several times.
Nasya - sinus treatment
Basti
By achieving the balance of Vata Vata and restoring the healthy function of the colon, this helps, from Ayurvedic physiology, to rebuild and revitalise all the tissues and organs of the body. A basti involves the introduction of medicated decoctions, oils and ghees into the colon where they are retained for some time and then eliminated along with the dissolved toxins, excess body fluids. Bastis are useful as a treatment for almost all diseases. Especially helpful in arthritic, muscular and neurological diseases, gastro - intestinal problems and all stress related disorders. The Basti (i.e. the necessary herbs and oils) can be prepared by me and given to the client for self application.
